The Queensland Renewable Energy Council (QREC) is a new not-for-profit industry body representing large-scale renewable energy developers, investors and supporters in Queensland. The body represents wind, solar, hydro and hydrogen projects as well as Government-owned corporations, transmission and energy storage providers. QREC needed to enter the market with impact and commissioned Three Plus to guide the organisation’s brand development, strategic communications and events program.

Process
- Developed a strategic communications plan, including stakeholder mapping and a risk and issues assessment.
- Established QREC’s brand, developing a strong narrative and suite of collateral.
- Developed a consistent suite of brand profiles (website, YouTube, LinkedIn) to support QREC’s advocacy.
- Designed and delivered a series of events with members, parliamentarians and other key influencers to build a coalition of support.
- Advised on industry media and issue management to seize opportunities and address challenges.
