Energy Storage Industries – Asia Pacific (ESI) is a Brisbane based start up investing in iron flow battery technology. Among its investments is the development of a battery manufacturing plant in Maryborough, Queensland. Three Plus was commissioned to build ESI’s brand and reputation, and ensure social licence for the battery manufacturing facility.

Process

Rolled out a stakeholder engagement program that included face-to-face conversations with Council representatives, Indigenous Elders, Wide Bay business leaders, the Queensland Fire Service, and Registered Training Organisations.

Three Plus has developed a suite of communication collateral (videos, fact sheets, PowerPoint presentations and speeches) to explain the technology, ESI’s financial backing and long-term business goals.

Delivered sod-turning and construction commencement events in Maryborough, featuring former Deputy Premier, the Hon Cameron Dick, and then Minister for State Development, the Hon Steven Miles.

Participated in the launch of the Federal Government’s National Battery Strategy, with Prime Minister, the Hon Anthony Albanese MP.
